We are all Treaty People

We are ALL Treaty People posterFamilies and friends of all ages are invited to join in a special sharing of First Nations, Métis & Inuit Peoples’ teachings, songs and drumming with Community Elders.

The event is an opportunity to work together to build relationships between native and non-native residents in support of community action to achieve ‘a next step’ towards achieving the Truth and Reconciliation Commission recommendations. Government alone cannot achieve the outcomes needed. Solutions will come from individual action.

‘We Are All Treaty People’ will take place on Sunday October 4th from 2 to 4 PM at the Guelph Public Library (Main Branch) 100 Norfolk St., Guelph, ON

Participants are encouraged to arrive early as space is limited.

The event is sponsored by the Truth and Reconciliation – Guelph Wellington Community Action Planning Committee

Future events regarding the Truth and Reconciliation Recommendations include a Talking Circle and Feast to be held on Sunday, November 8 at Dublin Street Church.
Circle at 2:00 p.m. & Feast at 3:30 p.m.
