Hiking Group

This group is open to new members. We can take all people interested. The total number of people on the mailing list, comprising all of those people who have come out for a hike at least once in the last two years, is 34. The core group of regular attendees is about 20. There has been, however, a significant turn-over in membership over the last two years. 

Participants take turns leading the hikes on local or out-of-town trails. In fall 2018, we went on six walks within the city limits, and seven in various places outside the city: Burlington, Kitchener, Cambridge, Hamilton, etc. In 2019, the ratio was about the same.

Hikes are usually followed by a stop for tea or coffee and conversation.  December and June potlucks are also popular social events.
